General Establishment & Nezarath


Establishment Section

The Establishment section deals with all the establishment matters of the SDO's office including service related matters, pay and allowances, pension related matters, maintenance of service books and individual case files of all officers and staff, transfer and postings of staff, preparation of salary and other bills, and all other miscellaneous establishment matters. The present establishment of the SDO's office is comprised of the Sub Divisional Officer who is the head of office, five Deputy Magistrates and Deputy Collectors who function as sectional heads, two Treasury Officers, four Additional Treasury Officers, one ARTO, nine MVI's, 116 Upper Division Assistants and Lower Division Assistants and 36 Group D staff.

General Section

The General Section of the SDO's office deals with various matters related to : - Revenue Munshikhana - Judicial Munshikhana - Amusemnet Tax and permission for various programmes and events. - Land matters - Tea Garden matters - Examination - Education related matters - Freedom Fighters . - Right to Information- Disposal of applications submitted under the act. - Arms Licence - Money Lenders licence - misc matters.

Nezarath Section

The Nazareth section of the SDO's office deals with all the accounts and financial matters of the establishment. The section is responsible for preparing bills, disbursing payments, maintenance of Cash Book and other books of accounts, maintenance of stock, the management of all vehicles running in the office and the overall upkeep of the office and its infrastructure.
